To ensure Gansel Plumbing & Drainage can continue to deliver the professional service and quality plumbing that our customers are familiar with, as of the 1st July 2018, we will be implementing a new pricing policy. To put this into perspective, since our establishment in Australia 2011, this will be the first increase to our rates.
We believe that honest communication is an important contribution to a successful business. For this reason, we’re providing our customers with upfront information on our new pricing structure, so there are no hidden surprises for the service being delivered.
Below is a summary of our rates for small maintenance works. For larger projects or multiple maintenance works in one area, please request an estimate or quotation.
For our customers within the local service areas (refer map on the home page) the following pricing will apply;
1) Request for quotation/consultation;
Free of charge. This can include a fixed fee quotation or hourly rate estimate; please specify at time of booking (default; hourly rate estimate)
2) Request for service (minimum charge is 1 hour on site for all requests – charge time commences upon arrival)
Call out / Travel Fee: Free of charge
Tradesman (time on site only): $80 ex. GST for the first hour, $75 ex. GST for every consecutive hour on site (blocked in 15 minute intervals)
Labourer (time on site only): $38 ex. GST per hour, charged at a flat rate (charged in 15 minute intervals for time spent on site working only)
Drain Locator/Camera: $150 ex. GST per hour flat rate (includes sonde, colour recording video with date/time stamp if requested)
Notifiable Works (Form 4): $40 ex GST per residence (only if required by the QBCC)
Water Efficiency (Compliance) Certificate: $15 ex GST per residence plus parts and labour
3) Blocked Drain;
Call out / Travel Fee: Free of charge
Suction Pump: $90 ex. GST for the first hour, $85 ex. GST for every consecutive hour (booked in 15 minute intervals for time spent on site working only)
Electric Drain Cleaner: $95 ex. GST for the first hour, $90 ex. GST for every consecutive hour (booked in 15 minute intervals for time spent on site working only)
For all after hours, weekends and public holidays, our services will be charged at applicable rate x 1.5, unless agreed otherwise.
For our customers outside the local service areas (refer map on the home page) the following pricing will apply;
